Summer Jackson, Harvard Business School

I am an Assistant Professor of Business Administration in Harvard Business School's Organizational Behavior Unit. An organizational ethnographer by training, I study the policies and practices associated with building a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workforce in fast-growth companies.

I completed my Ph.D. in Economic Sociology at MIT Sloan School of Management, where I was recognized as both an MIT Presidential Fellow and Graduate Woman of Excellence. In November 2020, my Ph.D. dissertation was recognized as the winner of the 2020 INFORMS/Organization Science Dissertation Proposal Competition.
